Fine Art Conservation and Restoration Services

Your artwork will first be thoroughly examined and tested to establish the Condition.  Next we determine the Treatment for the painting utilizing contemporary scientific models.  The treatment on the painting uses only museum standard conservation methods and methodologies established by recognized institutes of conservation worldwide.  Each treatment is thoroughly documented with photographs and written reports.

We adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and standards recognized by the American Institute for Conservation of Artistic Works and the Midwest Regional Conservation Guild, and the Heritage Preservation Group.

  • Expert analysis and chemical cleaning tests
  • Condition Report with photographs and inventory documentation
  • An estimate for restoration and conservation

Include private collectors, museums, libraries, galleries, historical societies, and antique collectors.  We also collaborate with insurance companies and professional appraisers with appropriate certification to determine the value and authenticity of the painting.  This is often an important step to service an insurance claim for a damaged piece of art.

If you have an heirloom painting which has darkened through the passage of time please bring or ship it to the studio for an estimate.
