Van Witt Fine Art Conservation offers comprehensive art recovery and restoration for art damaged by disaster or non-disaster causes. We partner with insurance companies, or work directly with their clients, to provide immediate response to fires, tornadoes, hurricanes and more.

Museum standards and methodologies, which adhere to the American Institute for Conservation’s (AIC) Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice, are the hallmark of our practice. Our project scope extends from the restoration of an individual painting to an expansive art collection, and from heirlooms to the works of celebrated artists.

Founder, Peggy Van Witt is a peer-approved fine art conservator and Professional Associate with the American Institute for Conservation (AIC). She and her team, trained in emergency response, bring three generations of training, knowledge and expertise to every project.

Additionally, we can furnish references for professional fine art appraisers, certified through the Appraisers Association of America or the American Society of Appraisers, to determine the value and authenticity of artworks in need of restoration or repair.

Some of our clients include American Family Insurance, Farmers Insurance and State Farm Insurance.

When disaster strikes, we’re here, we’re ready.
